Easy & Cute Christmas Treat Ideas

With Christmas shopping, wrapping presents, school concerts, holiday parties, travel & more, it’s no wonder why we’re all ready for a rest in January. I know we all have plenty to do around the holiday season so these ideas for cute Christmas treats are super easy to put together. Don’t have time to do homemade baking this holiday season? No problem! No baking required for these treats. Looking for Christmas crafts to keep the kids busy? These ideas have you covered for that too!
When it comes to party food for kids, simple is best. Have you ever spent hours cooking a big family meal only to have your child ask for crackers instead? Yes, we’ve all been there. Sure, there are some kids with fancier taste buds but most kids are just looking for a few of their simple favourites.

First up – drinks! Give those juice boxes a little Christmas upgrade by dressing them like Santa. Simply cover the juice box in red paper, add a black paper belt & a gold paper belt buckle. You’ll have to help the younger kids with the cutting but they can glue or tape everything together for you.

Next up – snacks! You can make some Rudolph treat bags with brown paper bags, brown pipe cleaners, and red pom-poms. Simply glue the red pom-pom to the front of the bag for a nose. Cut each pipe cleaner in half, bend them to look like antlers, then tape them to the top inside portion of the bag. You can add eyes to these too if you’d like. Then fill the bags with your favourite snack food like popcorn or chips. Remember that greasy snacks will leave grease spots on the bags. To stop this from happening, place the snacks in a sandwich bag first then put that sandwich bag inside your Rudolph treat bag.

Last – but certainly not least – dessert! Cute Christmas cupcake wrappers & picks can dress up a variety of desserts like cupcakes, mini cookies, donut holes, chocolate truffles, fruit & more.
